Intellectual Property UK: Changes to the Examination Process on Relative Grounds

The Intellectual Property Office of the United Kingdom has announced changes in their examination procedures. From now on, they will no longer refuse to register a new trade mark application because of an earlier trademark conflicting, unless the owner of the earlier mark successfully opposes the new application.
