.TEL Domain Registry has now released a .tel plug in for Microsoft Outlook, enabling anyone with Outlook to have their address book updated dynamically.
The Outlook application provides the ability to:
- Directly lookup a .tel domain inside Outlook, including private information from friends
- Search for a .tel domain inside Outlook
- Add any .tel domain as a new contact or associate it with an existing contact
- Refresh all the .tel information in your address book with a single click
- Send friending requests and accept or decline them depending on your TelFriends status
- Quickly change your .tel profile to make sure your contacts reach you the way you want
With .tel, you dont need to update your address book. Your friends, colleagues and brands manage their own contact information in their .tel. You no longer have to subscribe to web directories to see the information or being subjected to contacts update emails, said Henri Asseily, CTO and Chief Strategist at .TEL Domain Registry. With .tel, the single point of communication in your address book can be the last one youll ever need to input.
