.DO domain authority has decided to extend the deadline established for pre-registration of .do domain names. The new deadline is June 10, 2010; until that day only holders of .com.do, .net.do, .org.do domains registered before October 30, 2009 may apply for the corresponding .do domain name.
If two people request the same domain name priority will be given to the person who has the registration under .com.do, .net.do, .org.do for the longest period.
After that .do domains will be registered on a regular basis.
You can pre-register your .do domain now at a price of USD 170: .DO Pre-Registration
In case you do not qualify for registration in the first stage, we will try registering your domain after pre-registration stage; if registration is not possible, we will issue a refund of your money.
Go to NIC.do for the original information.
