According to Veri Sign, Brazil ended last year with more than 2.1 million web domains registered, a 22% increase compared to the end of 2007.
The number of domains ending with .net and .com grew 17% in comparison to the previous year. This happened not only in Brazil but also in all Latin American countries. Here the growth in registered .com and .net domains increased by 27% when compared to 2007.
